Marcin Mazurek is a Polish composer for film, television and games based in London, UK. He has composed music for projects showcased at numerous international festivals and recognised at major industry awards, including the BAFTAs (winning Best Short Film 2025 with Rock, Paper, Scissors), Festival de Cannes (3rd Prize at La Cinef with Bunnyhood), One World Media Awards (1st Prize with Knife's Edge), IDA Documentary Awards, Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Festival, BFI London Film Festival, Grierson Awards, and many more. His score for Rock, Paper, Scissors was nominated at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. He also won a shared Royal Television Society Award with Bryony Lear for their work on the film's sound. His music for Bunnyhood has been nominated for Soundtrack Cologne's Peer Raben Music Award. He holds a Master’s degree in Composing for Film and Television from the UK’s National Film and Television School (NFTS). Marcin's works frequently feature innovative, live-recorded textures, processed in creative ways to craft unique, story-driven soundscapes. Full of experimentation, his compositions push boundaries to create immersive auditory experiences that enhance the emotional core of each project.
