Max McManus is a transgender Canadian-American Director, Producer, and Script Supervisor. At age eleven Max becoming involved in local community theater in Maui, Hawai’i. Since then he has been actively involved in the performing arts as a dancer, singer, director, and writer for the stage. Upon graduating high school he was the recipient of the Paul Wood Performing Arts Award. In addition to the stage at only age 14 Max directed an episode of Hiki Nō titled Archers to Art and Other Stories HIKI NŌ which aired on PBS Hawai’i. Max excels at public speaking having performed multiple speeches including two TED talks. He uses his voice and art to raise awareness for minority groups within the USA. He attended Vancouver Film School in the Film Production program, graduating in 2025.
