Logi Guðmundsson
Acting
Logi Guðmundsson is an Icelandic drummer and multi-instrumentalist best known for his role in the post-rock/electronica project Low Roar. He joined the band in 2011, shortly after frontman Ryan Karazija relocated to Reykjavík and released Low Roar’s self-titled debut album. Guðmundsson became a key contributor to the band’s evolving sound, adding live percussion and electronic textures that helped shape their atmospheric and introspective music. Guðmundsson's contributions are prominently featured on Low Roar’s second album, 0 (2014), which marked a shift toward more layered and experimental production. He also performed on the band’s live album Live at Gamla Bíó, recorded during the 2014 Iceland Airwaves festival. In addition to his studio work, Guðmundsson toured extensively with Low Roar across Europe and North America, including performances at festivals like ATP and Iceland Airwaves. He was part of the lineup during the band's 2015 tour supporting Hozier, with a notable performance at Austin Music Hall on April 21, 2015.
