The heterogeneous universe of the "bate-bolas" in the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro

An x-ray of the work done by more than 70 "bate-bolas" in the western zone of Rio de Janeiro. While keeping alive the tradition of street carnival, the groups take to the final consequences the preparations for the party, which begin 361 days before the beginning of the carnival
