Yaiphabee, Sanajaoba's younger sister, acts as a catalyst to bridge the strained relationship between Sanajaoba and his mother. A slice of the evolving socio-political scenario of Manipur (and the northeast at large) is captured through the lens of Sanajaoba's family.
